Ivytide Builds Momentum With Their New Single "miss u btw"
Montreal trio Ivytide is the epitome of smooth. Laid-back vocals from lead singer Nathan Gagné perfectly compliment the slow-tempo instrumentals from guitarist Jamie Snytte and bass from Kyle Ruggiero. Singles such as "ouest side" and "Undone" are relaxed indie pop ballads that put the trio's songwriting on full display.
Ivytide is back to follow up their February single "talk about it" with a new release titled "miss u btw." The vocal performance on "miss u btw" instantly pulls you in with its warm and reassuring tone. The instrumental on the tack is stripped back and skeletal, giving the vocals more room to captivate listeners.
"miss u btw" shows that although Ivytide is made up of three artists, they all share the same creative vision. With no misses in their back catalogue, it's safe to say that whatever Ivytide releases next will be just as entertaining as "miss u btw."
