Luna Li and beabadoobee Join Forces For the Mesmerizing "Silver Into Rain"

There’s a climactic moment where becoming enamored with dreams over reality feels like the ultimate escape, or so it seems. It's something that most dread yet yearn for time and time again without hesitation, a moment that plays a vital role in Luna Li's new single, "Silver Into Rain."

The Korean-Canadian artist, neé Hannah Bussiere, sprouted onto the internet and music stratosphere during the pandemic with videos flexing her multi-instrumental chops with the harp, bass, keyboard, and more, making a viral impression on anyone that stopped to watch. Currently, Li is prepping for way more than 30-second reels, teasing the release of Duality, her debut album set to arrive March 4.

On "Silver Into Rain," Li taps into the unshakable tenderness of melding imagination, truth, and misery into a unique concotion, allowing it to flourish into a euphoric licking of delicate guitars and lush harmonies - one you cannot help but feel lost in it, transforming a rainy day rather from grim disappointment to unexpected delight.

The track is also accompanied by rising British indie-rockstar beabadoobee, with the the two bouncing off one another in a whisper-like confession, allowing the story and mystic appeal of it all to unfold. Even though the three-minute track moves into a celestial pop form, it still holds its inescapable indie-psychedelic mold, making for a perfect collaboration. Harmoniously, the duo leads into the hook, “Blow me away, too shy for the stage / too careful to be brave, I’m too young for my age," unveiling a vulnerable, detailed story that leaves fans and us alike all the more excited for Duality.
