Nightshifts Unveils His Cosmic New Single "Tunnel Vision"

Toronto-based singer-songwriter Andrew Oliver, better known as Nightshifts, is back with yet another cosmic, soulful single. "Tunnel Vision" is a flourishing, energetic tune dripping in rejuvenating goodness.

Writing about the push and pull of life Oliver shares, "I very often get caught up thinking about past situations and looking towards future ones. I write a lot about this imbalance. And ironically, the times I feel most in the moment is when I'm working on music."

"Tunnel Vision" gently comes in like a summer breeze, full of life and buoyancy. Vibing out over the percussion is a guitar line reminiscent of Vampire Weekend, which keeps a loop of energy alive under the vintage synths. Nightshifts pairs this with a warm streamline of feelings, a hallmark of most of his work that bring forth a rush of comfort and familiarity. With moments of tenderness, stunning falsetto vocals, and reverb-coated synths the song ticks all the boxes.

Nightshifts is clearly no stranger to crafting dewy, polished tunes. So if you’re not familiar already, then dive head in. You’ll thank me later.
