The Band CAMINO Is Riding A Wave of Alt-Rock Royalty with New Single, "Honest"
Today, alt-rock's next big thing, The Band CAMINO graced us with an electrifying new single to tease their forthcoming Elektra Records Debut EP, tryhard, set to drop Aug. 23. The new single, "Honest," zooms in on that fine line between casual and commitment, with lyrics that beg the questions, "Do we really want this? Or are we lying to ourselves?" Hard-hitting drums and rousing guitar lines ease the conversation, engulfing its listeners in an optimistic and danceable soundscape. Whether or not the relationship comes to fruition is not important to CAMINO; instead, they want you to embrace those thoughts and feelings that you'd rather suppress and listen to the honesty of your heart.
The Nashville-based quartet, comprised of Jeffery Jordan, Graham Rowell, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess, has been riding a recent wave of success. On top the announcement of their new EP, they've also revealed that they're playing Chicago's legendary Lollapalooza, and they're kicking off an extensive North American headline tour on Sept. 4.

Of their forthcoming EP tryhard, the band shares:
"Somewhere along the way people have called us 'try-hards' thinking we took ourselves too seriously or were trying to be something we weren't. Of course, we are try-hards. The entire reason we're here is to create something bigger than ourselves. A lot of times people use 'try-hard' in a derogatory sense, but we'd rather own the fact that we've given every ounce of ourselves to making this music."
