South London-born Loren first emerged in 2022 with a string of confident and addictive alt-R&B jams (“Playlist,” “Disappear”, and “Rollin’”) that earned immediate support from BBC 1Xtra, Foundation FM, Vice, Clash and more. It was a year of reflection and realignment, a time in which writer's block and imposter syndrome challenged and pushed her while creating BETWEEN2WORLDS, an EP that finally reflects who she truly is as both a person and an artist.
Loren’s songs are written like diary entries and facing your feelings on a daily basis can be a confrontational act. This vulnerability is reflected across the EP, the title of which nods to Loren's identity as both a Black Brit in Australia and one of the rising artists in the country's emerging R&B scene.
