Texas may call itself “The Lone Star State,” but Tiffany Stringer is proving she’s their newest and brightest star with the release of her major label debut single “Bullet.” The rising starlet’s iridescent delivery shines on the earwormy break-up anthem, creating a sonically infectious experience that turns hurt and heartache into joyful and resounding healing.

"Bullet" weaves Stringer’s signature blend of early-2000s, Shania Twain-esque sonics with her unapologetic and raw energy. Confessional lyrics paint a picture of a love left in the dust, which kicks back up upon the news of her ex’s upcoming nuptials. Over the verses, Stringer thinks back to the time they shared together, crooning over the twangy production, “I guess people change in the funniest ways.” However, she does not dwell on the past for long, reminding herself that the red flags were, in fact, real. On the hook, she relishes the relief and realized freedom that comes from dodging a “bullet.”

“‘Bullet’ is the pop country SMASH I wrote after finding out my cheating ex got married,” says Stringer. “He moved to Nashville and I decided to write a country song so he couldn’t escape the sound of my voice. I honestly started writing it out of spite, but ultimately it became a way for me to express myself and turn that hurt into joy.”

The accompanying music video is a beautifully cinematic visual, written by Stringer and directed by Logan Rice, that taps into the artist’s love of classic Hollywood movies. The video opens with 'sheriff Stringer' walking the streets of a small Western town, crashing a wedding taking place in the local chapel. She heads to the bar, but instead of drowning her woes with booze, she and her pals cheer for the future and put their dancing boots to good use.

The single follows the success of Stringer’s sold-out debut headline show in Los Angeles at Moroccan Lounge. With these new milestones under her belt, she continues to cement her status as a fearless and captivating rising voice in pop, with more new music hopefully to come this year.
