Atlanta-based platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jai’Len Josey’s new single, “Won’t Force You” confronts the ache of unrequited love and what it takes to let go. Revolving around strummed acoustic guitar and a steady drum build, Jai’Len’s voice immediately resonates with warmth and vulnerability, and as always, she wears her heart on her sleeve.

Jai’Len Josey dedicates her entire being to every song she writes and performs. She flaunts her vocals with passion and power, while writing with the careful observation of an author, and performing with the emotional reach of someone who feels everything deeply. As the production gains momentum, Jai’Len reaches a moment of acceptance on the refrain. Between strains of a guitar solo and strings, she affirms, “If you don’t want to be here, I won’t force you to love me.”

Following her last single, “Freak,” “Won’t Force You” introduces a new version of Jai’Len while paving the way for the release of her next highly anticipated album, Serial Romantic.

Last Thursday, Jai’Len ignited the stage with a showstopping set during the OnesToWatch X ONE Musicfest at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. With more performances on the calendar, Jai’Len is set to join Xavier Omär on his Hunnymoon Tour at select dates.
