Soul-Pop Songstress Rozzi Takes Us to the East Coast with 10 BTS Photos [TOUR DIARY]
At only 19 years old, soul-pop powerhouse Rozzi was discovered by the one and only Adam Levine, who gave her the honor of being the first artist signed to his record label, 222 Records. Having opened for established names like Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson, Rozzi has fierce vocals and undeniable charisma that she channels into her crushingly honest lyricism now as an independent artist.
Shortly after releasing her 2018 debut album, Bad Together, Rozzi joined funk masters Scary Pockets on a string of east coast dates. And of course, we're here to bring you behind the scenes with 10 never-before-seen photos from Rozzi's time on the road.
First show in Philadelphia. I made Mario take 187363 pics of me in front of this door like a real diva.
Scary Pockets hanging out with Emily King
My view from the van. The best thing about touring this way is looking out the window and seeing everything. The west coast looks so different from the east, the Southwest is so different from the Midwest - it's like 50 countries in one.
Also my view from the van
Me backstage at the Brooklyn Bowl. I'm always a little nervous before a show but it's the worst when I know people in the audience. This was right after I took a long walk in the neighborhood to CALM DOWN.
Post show we got drinks & chicken wings
Bassist in the snow!
Scary Pockets cuties. Rett Madison and Mario Jose are both amazing solo artists - if you don't, now you know!!
In my Sandy Liang sweatshirt ALWAYS
Holding Lake's leg in Brooklyn after the show. She's my best friend from high school and one of the reasons I was so nervous to play, which is dumb 'cause she couldn't be more supportive <3
