With Coachella just around the corner, there are plenty of last-minute details to iron out. Whose floor am I crashing on? Will anything ever top Beychella? What can I not miss out on at Coachella 2019? While we may not be able to help you find a floor to crash on, and we are pretty sure nothing will ever top Beychella (come on, the performance is getting its own Netflix documentary), we can help you with that last question. These are six not-to-miss happenings at and around this year's Coachella that are poised to rival any of the "best Coachella parties."

Murmurs of Kanye West's Sunday Service have kept the Internet in a state of religious-like fervor for months now. The private event, which features reworked gospel renditions of West's songs and a host of guest appearances, ranging from DMX, Katy Perry, Tyler, the Creator, to even Orlando Bloom, is set to hit Coachella for one day only - Easter Sunday, during weekend 2 of Coachella. What can you expect from West's Sunday Service? Well, no one really knows for sure, but we're expecting plenty of special guests, glimpses at West's upcoming albumYandhi, and an event quite like no other at Coachella this year.

First K-pop girl group to play Coachella

West's Sunday Service is only one of many firsts happening at this year's Coachella, and arguably one of the biggest firsts this year is the festival's first performance by a K-pop girl group. BLACKPINK is a Korean and international sensation who has even collaborated with fellow pop icon Dua Lipa. Set to be Coachella's first K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK is making history left and right. Don't believe us? Well, their latest music video to date, "Kill This Love," just took the title of both the biggest-ever music video debut and fastest ever video to reach 100 million views on YouTube.  

Do LaB

With Coachella's six stages of diverse musical acts, it might be easy not to make a trip to the Do LaB, but not doing so would be a grave mistake. The Do LaB is equal parts interactive art piece and one of the best places at the festival to escape the heat, all while enjoying some of the best and most varied names in electronic music. 2019 marks The Do Lab's 15th year at Coachella, and it is looking to be their best year yet. Beyond having a stellar lineup for both weekends, you can expect to catch a host of surprise guests, the likes of which in the past have included everyone from ZHU, RL Grime, to even Skrillex.

Idris Elba

We would be lying if we said that we did not do a double take when we spotted Idris Elba's name on this year's Coachella lineup. The acclaimed actor is certainly known for a lot of things, from being named as everything from Essence's "Sexiest Man of the Year" to ranking as second on People's annual list of "Sexiest Man Alive." And beyond being an international heartthrob and acclaimed actor, Elba also moonlights as the hottest DJ on London's East Side, having played London nightclubs under the name DJ Big Driis since 1991. Catching Elba throw down in the Yuma tent is a dream we never knew we had come true.

Goldenvoice Presents April  

Can't make it out to Coachella this year and already experiencing a serious case of FOMO? Well, no worries. Just because you can't make it out to Indio, doesn't mean that you have to miss out on all Coachella has to offer. For the entirety of April, Los Angeles and San Francisco will be taken over by a deluge of shows, featuring artists and bands performing at 2019's Coachella. Want to catch FKJ and Ross From Friends on the same night? How about Jaden Smith and  SG Lewis? Hop Along and Soccer Mommy sharing the same stage? Well, all this and plenty more is possible this April.  

The Premiere of Guava Island

Even if you cannot make it to Indio, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, there is still plenty to be excited about. As a matter of fact, one of Coachella's biggest surprises can be viewed right from your living room. While Coachella live streaming its sets is nothing new, what is new is the announcement that, during this year's live stream, Donald Glover will premiere his highly-anticipated film Guava Island. Co-starring Glover and Rihanna and directed by Glover's Atlanta collaborator Hiro Murai, the much-talked-about, rarely seen outside of a very small trailer, Guava Island will finally be viewable come weekend one of Coachella, April 13. Is it too much to hope for Rihanna surprising us with some new music as well?
