EKKSTACY Pours His Still Bleeding Heart Out in “she will be missed”

EKKSTACY’s latest single, “she will be missed,” is a fierce, emotional gut-wrenching track. A love letter to the future of punk rock, infused with new-wave undertones that drive its drum-heavy, cathartic energy single. Starting off with hauntingly resonant lyrics, “You’re off me /She will be missed /Everything that we did / It’s gone like we didn’t.” Ekkstacy immediately hooks listeners with an angsty, intense introduction in a matter of seconds.

Following the release of his critically acclaimed self-titled album earlier this year, "she will be missed" sees EKKSTACY continuing to push the boundaries of traditional punk-rock. This track follows previous releases "seventeen" and "mr. mole," which in addition to "she will be missed," are raw, experimental blends of punk and new-wave influences that feel as timeless as they do unique.

Clocking in at just over two minutes, “she will be missed” is a high-energy, emotionally charged track. As the song builds into its passionate chorus and final verse, “And I can’t move on / You don’t wanna come / No I, I'm not taking time from her. I regret so much I've done / I'm not choosing a side / I'm not choosing a side you've already chose for me / I'm stuck in your cold I'm freezing.” EKKSTACY’s delivery is raw and vulnerable, delving into the complexities of heartbreak and fear of the future. With an infectious melody and driving rhythm, “she will be missed” is a yet another striking addition to the rising star's evolving discography.

“she will be missed” closes out a phenomenal year for EKKSTACY as the post-punk artist has toured with blink-182 and $uicideboy$, EKKSTACY has established himself as one of the leading faces in the alternative scene.
