There's a unique type of satisfaction that follows dumping a toxic ex and moving on to someone better. In her latest single "You Ain't Worth It," Melii crafts the perfect anthem for anyone who upgraded from their past relationship and can't help but brag about it.

Holding nothing back, Melii and 6LACK dig into their exes for their immature and fickle behavior. Both artists' voices meld seamlessly into one another, mirroring the new, more harmonious relationships the two find themselves in by the end of the track. The video, directed by Des Gray, features stunning visuals reminiscent of the early 2000's. Speaking on the video, Melii says,

“The video was such a fun vibe. We wanted to go with old school looks and aesthetic because it went with the song the best. Working with 6LACK was amazing.”

Since going viral for her remix of Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," Melii has proven impossible to box in to any one genre. Between the release of her debut album, EP, and consistent stream of singles, the Harlem-based singer, songwriter, and rapper possesses a unique ability to surprise fans with every release. The video for "You Ain't Worth It" marks a strong start for the artist, who no doubt has a big year ahead.
