csndra Serves Up a Cocktail of Wounded Love and Perreo in "dmlo"

A cocktail of wounded love and perreo, rising star csndra’s latest single “dmlo” is our new addiction.

While her debut single “Very Well” had femmes of all colors and kinds dripping of empowerment, “dmlo” is a kiss blown to the Latin community. Honoring her Puerto Rican roots, the bilingual track tells the story of fighting to save a love entrenched in fear.

The second verse is sung in Spanish, translating to “I know that love has not been easy for you, but my intention is that you can trust me." Beyond the filtered facades, the healthiest relationships are the most honest ones, where the demons are sat with and acknowledged. But beyond the emotional depth i explores, at its core, this track is meant to be moved to. It begs you to be sweaty, to be lost in your body, and to be liberated while trapped in a crowd.

Since her humble entrance into the industry, csndra has cut no corners when it comes to the quality of her art, and most importantly, her visuals. While she may have had to pay a couple of fire hazard fees, the accompanying visual component comes equipped with a scenic Miami drive and looks so stunning they’d leave a Bratz doll envious.

Above all else, what makes csndra a standout indie artist is her commitment to her why. From mental health to self-love, everything that she creates is an offering to her community and a devotion to self-betterment. What will get her far isn’t just her soft rasp and undeniable talent, but how she changes the world through her own metamorphosis.
