Not only is Joji the first Asian-born artist to debut atop the Billboard  R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, but he is also one of the most dynamic artists we have encountered yet. With his innate ability to effortlessly fuse together hip-hop, rock, electronic, and R&B, Joji is a force to be reckoned with. As a much-anticipated follow-up from his acclaimed debut album,  BALLADS 1 (LP 2018), Joji is revealing a darker side to himself with the edgy new single "Run."

Produced by Joji and Justin Parker (Rihanna, Lana Del Rey), "Run" hears Joji holding absolutely nothing back. The guitar-driven track is outlandish in comparison to his existing discography, but we have no complaints. As a matter of fact, Joji deserves praise for his ingenuity and evolution as he continues to break free from genre molds in 2020.

The accompanying visual for "Run" is just as enthralling as the track itself. Shot by Aisultan Seitov (21 Savage, Offset), the ominous video transports us into the toxic world of celebrities. Joji finds himself struggling to escape the very extravagant stretch limo we would imagine the elite ride in on an ordinary day.
