Jordan Rakei Urges Future Generations to  "Say Something" Against Corruption

Jordan Rakei's latest single "Say Something" is a groovy track full of tender harmonies that are only heightened by its rich bass line. The British artist's new impressive outing surrounds the notion of speaking up for what you believe in. "Say Something" is a call to action for the future generation to stand up against AI systems which, as Rakei sees, may govern the dystopian world. "Say Something" follows "Mind's Eye" another single inspired by Rakei's fascination of a dystopian future.

In addition to gracing us with a new single, Rakei just announced his third album Origin,  which is set to arrive June 14. The 11-track project shines with bright melodies and lyrics chronicling visions of the future. The modern soul singer was overtly inspired by Black Mirror, The Handmaid's Tale, and Twin Peaks. Worried that humankind is losing its sense of connection, Rakei penned lyrics exploring the idea of technological growth and how it may affect humanity.

Origin contrasts the British artist's previous album Wallflower, which was released in 2017. Wallflower revolved around intimate topics, relating to the complications that stem from anxiety and introversion. As Rakei expands his musical vision in the months to come, we, for one, are at the edge of our seats as we prepare to see what spellbinding vision the distinctive artist has in store for us and the future.
