See What Life After Harvard Looks Like For Pop Singer Brynn Elliott  [TOUR DIARY]

Rising popstar Brynn Elliott is utilizing her Harvard degree in a way most other graduates aren't. With a degree in philosophical studies, Elliott is crafting universal tracks that are inspired by growing up, love, and heartbreak.  Her first EP, Time Of Our Lives, is relatable and fun all at once.  While most of her songs are upbeat pop anthems, the singer-songwriter showcases her range as a vocalist and songwriter in intimate ballads like  "Tongue Tied" and her acoustic version of  "Might Not Like Me."  Elliott is a fresh face for pop music, ignited by her mission to create music listeners everywhere can relate to.

Fresh from opening for the boy band Why Don't We on their 8 Letters Tour, Elliott shared a few of her highlights and intimate moments on and off stage.

On this tour I’ve set a goal for myself to stay constantly creative by writing in the green room. I always write well under pressure and on tour sometimes all I have are a few hours to write, the time constraints have help me just let go. Hopefully some of these ideas i’m recording turn into good songs :)

It’s a dream come true. The whole thing.

I love this shirt because it has gratitude written all over it.

Opening for Why Don’t We has been the most incredible experience. Performing live is my favorite thing to do so I am trying to take in every moment on these stages.

One of my favorite parts of tour is getting to interact and hang out with people who love music. Whether its with fans or someone interviewing me (like Sammy J from Radio Disney is here) everyone has a story about how music has impacted their lives and I find that endlessly inspiring.

This is Noah. He is very good at making the show sound amazing every night, and he is also a model.

We played a show in Vegas so I wore my sequin pants.

One of my favorite moments in a day on tour is right before walking on stage - it's the moment where you realize that nothing else matters except what's about to happen on stage with the audience.

One of the best parts of this tour, if not THE best part, is meeting the fans. They are SO incredible and sometimes if I see some of them around the venue I will do a little pop up show for them. I LOVE getting to meet them all :)

It all started on a road trip with my dad when I was 14. We were traveling from  Mississippi  back to Georgia and this song came on the radio and it had an intro. Up till this point I had only listened to Jessica Simpson and Avril Lavigne (whom I still love and listen to) but I had never listened to proper rock music. "November Rain" was the song on the radio that day and my Dad, ashamed that I did not know who Guns ‘N Roses were pulled over to find the closest CD store. We found one and he introduced me to bands like Boston, U2, Doobie Brothers, Kansas, etc. I owe so much to my Dad in that moment. For introducing me to music that still inspires me today.

Our tour manager Mitch had a brilliant idea to take a trip to Lake Tahoe on our day off. It was truly so beautiful and refreshing to walk and sit on this dock and be surrounded by water. I walked away from our little mini trip feeling like by mind was renewed. Nature has a way of showing you how much more there is outside yourself.
