Along with the announcement of his headlining tour, Jagwar Twin released a stripped back video for his latest single "Long Time Coming - Live in a Living Room." This is a live version of the energetic track that opened his debut album Subject to Flooding, produced by S1 and Linus, which was released earlier this year. The track is an electric opener to an attention grabbing album - with waves of unique sounds - from 60's inspired guitars to gritty beats.
"Long Time Coming" is about shared humanity, and how all people are dissimilar yet similar, which is a recurring focus throughout the whole album. The track, sung live, gives it an extra powerful roughness, allowing listeners to connect deeper with Jagwar Twin's dynamic vocals, along with his message. It's a raw track that pulls at your heartstrings. The passion that shines through the slowed-down version evokes deeper meaning into the song.
