The Band CAMINO's New Video Is a Heartbreaking Hue of "Daphne Blue"

Nashville-based group The Band CAMINO has released a new video for their breakout single "Daphne Blue," furthering the song's narrative. The guitar-driven track is paired with blue hues and hallucinogenic shots that add an extra flair to the alternative pop-rock single.
With two EPs under their belt, 2017's Heaven and 2016's 'My Thoughts On You, and the release of their recent label debut two-song single "Daphne Blue" / "See Through," The Band CAMINO is building up an increasingly impressive discography. Their track "Daphne Blue" was originally released last year and has been given new life in the complementary visual accompaniment.
The video opens in an art gallery as the four band members step in front of four unique, blue-framed abstract art pieces in a very Ferris Bueller's Day Off - evoking moment. Every member of the band is involved, showing everyone's reaction to what they see in the abstract art on the wall, all hinting at past relationships. Each reaction demonstrates a different feeling and hue. The psychedelic video features close-ups of eyes that zoom into wavy scenes and art that swirls and moves on the wall.
The video furthers the song’s underlying meaning of holding onto a relationship that's already over - like when you see someone in strangers on the street or an object linked to a person. In this case, it's abstract art that reminds you of a memory, feeling, or person.
